French Chateaus & Custom Kicks: Madelynn and Chris at the Monson Center

Detail of the suit: "A handsome groom in a tailored maroon suit with black trim and custom wedding shoes at the Thomas S. Monson Center."

If you’re looking for us, we’ll just be over here re-watching the footage from Madelynn and Chris’s wedding on a loop. We’ve captured some incredible Utah weddings, but their celebration at the Thomas S. Monson Center was a masterclass in “Main Character” energy.

Historic Vibes, Modern Style

Walking into the Thomas S. Monson Center in Salt Lake City feels a bit like stepping into a grand European manor—right in the middle of Utah! As Utah wedding photographers, we are suckers for marble staircases, ornate woodwork, and that classic architecture that makes every photo look like a piece of art.

But as beautiful as the building is, Madelynn and Chris were the real highlights. They didn’t just show up; they arrived.

The Dress vs. The Suit

Let’s talk about the fashion, because our cameras were practically blushing. Madelynn was a total vision in a form-fitting, timeless white wedding dress. It was sleek, elegant, and had that “Vogue” simplicity that we just can’t get enough of.

And then there’s Chris. While the world goes black and gray, Chris went bold. He rocked a tailored maroon suit with black trim that was so sharp it should have come with a warning label. He topped off the handsome look with custom shoes that added the perfect playful touch to his high-fashion aesthetic. As Utah wedding videographers, we spent a lot of time getting those “detail shots” because, honestly, the world needs to see those shoes.

From SLC to the Skies

Whether we are shooting at the historic Monson Center or hopping on a private jet for a proposal over Mount Timpanogos, we love the variety that comes with being a destination Utah wedding photographer. There is something so satisfying about framing a timeless white gown against the dark, rich textures of a historic Utah landmark.

Madelynn and Chris, thank you for letting us be part of your fan club for the day! You brought the heat to the Monson Center, and we’re still obsessed with every single frame.
